
Kirby Nicholson
President
Kirby is president of Pressure Diagnostics. He graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Calgary in 1991. Kirby’s 30+ year career spans production, reservoir and completions engineering having held numerous positions with upstream production companies and consulting roles. Kirby briefly owned a coiled-tubing service company and worked for the Alberta Research Council on business development for research in unconventional resources. Kirby has filed for 2 patents.
For the last 12 years Kirby has been a keen student of hydraulic fracturing and has co-authored six papers on Diagnostic Fracture Injection Test (DFIT) analysis and other fracturing operations diagnostics.
